***I am developing independence….***
Logan - We are so, so proud of you for using the toilet and getting rid of the pull-ups, what a brilliant boy you are!
Casper - We love the way you come in, in the mornings and take off your shoes, pressing the Velcro back in place and then putting them under your peg, well done!
Honey - On your first day at Pebbles you came in from the garden and without being told went and washed and dried your hands - brilliant!
Dear parents,
We have taken part in so many vehicle related actions this week. Our main focus was Thomas the Tank Engine so we have used the Thomas book to help us tell the time as it has a big clock on the front and we have enjoyed completing our tricky Thomas and Percy jigsaw puzzle.
For our big craft activity we have made Percy, Annie and Clarabel - using the tablet to help us with the details and for individual craft we used the little cars and paint to create different coloured lines and patterns that are on display and help us with our numbers 1 to 10.
The children have loved being outside now that the garden and outdoor play area have had a little spring clean and the builders tray became a sandy construction site for scooping and making tracks in.
Next week we will focus more on Aeroplanes and Automobiles. Learning about where aeroplanes fly to e.g. Jane has flown to Scotland and Ruby will be flying to Australia in the summer. This will help the children to think about how big the world is, distance and time. The children are very good at using the traffic signs when playing outside in the cars and on the trikes . We will introduce a junction so that we can encourage the older children to learn their left and right.
Have a lovely weekend,
The Pebbles team.
