***I get involved and am willing to have a go….***
Ivy - You have had a brilliant week. You are amazing in P.E. for such a little one. You really listen to the teachers and copy the other children and were one of the last 5 in the spot game, very impressive. you have also remembered your pleases and thank yous and were good at waiting your turn for a go in the cars.
Clover - You have been so brave and sensible since have your thumb operated on. It was lovely to have you back at Pebbles this week, but you showed that you were clever enough to know your limits. Well done Clover
All P.E. children - We are very impressed with the children that do P.E. on a Tuesday. Their Makaton signs for which colour spot they would like are getting clear and clear. So of the children also add the please and thank you sign, which is so lovely to see.
Dear Parents,
We have spent lots of time in our new cosy (sometimes quiet) corner and out in the garden filling up the cars this week. Violet and Oscar were very good petrol pump attendants, although I am not sure the children would have got far with the about of petrol they put in. We have noticed that the children's ability to move that cars and trikes around on the path and grass are really improving. They have developed turning and reversing techniques so that the petrol cap was on the right side to fill up and lots of them have been driving the vehicles on the grass, which requires quite a lot of strength in their legs, especially up hill.
At Forest school Oscar took us all on a dinosaur egg hunt. We found three very large dinosaur footprints and the remnance of a dinosaur egg. So we think there is possibly a dinosaur roaming around or flying over Bulmer! We have started to build ourselves a den to protect us from the dinosaur next time we go to Forest school.
This week,s craft activity has been a special one for the very important ladies that look after the children. The children were instucted to keep the item well hidden until Sunday, fingers crossed they managed it.
As next week is 'Stay and Play' we will let the children and parents decide what our activities will be each morning.
The Pebbles team.
