***I am brilliant at encouraging other children….***
Maisie - You are such an encouraging little girl. You say lovely things to children when they are unsure and you always encourage others to join in with your games.
Aniyah - You held Ambrose's hand on the stepping stones, encouraging him to wait until you were ready for him to jump and then clapping when he did.
Ruby - Your manners are amazing - you always say please and thank you and when other don't use their manners you tell them what they should have said.
Dear Parents,
Well what a change in the weather, but as the photos show we still managed to get out and about, exploring the icy landscape.
We were in the warm on Monday (it was very raining) so we did painting with a big piece of paper on the large table as well as playing in the tunnels and on the mats. On Tuesday we played parachute games in P.E. and spent time in the garden making sure we are looking after the birds during the cold snap by filled up the bird feeders.
We got very cold on our walk on Wednesday, but we loved having a bit of a slip and slide on the icy puddles and trying to work out how thick the icy was.
On Thursday we discovered the builders tray in the outdoor area was thick with ice and great for banging with our hammers. Despite getting wet gloves and cold hands almost straight away the children really enjoyed breaking it into pieces and then making it melt in their hands.
To round the week off we started writing our letters to Santa and we played the Lava game during indoor P.E.
I can hold the grown-ups off no more, so next week the festive activities - known as the 'Pebbles Christmas production line' will start and the Christmas tree will be put up on Friday!
We hope you have a lovely weekend,
The Pebbles team.
