***I am me….***
Ivy and Morven - Our two newest members of the Pebbles family have settled brilliantly this week. Making friends quickly and settling into the Pebbles routines, well done both of you!
Maisie - For amazing use of the toilet this week. You are in and out of there like a yo-yo but it seems to be working. You have also taken Ivy under your wing and could actually be her key person, great job Maisie.
Brody - For showing really concern and being the kindest, sweetest little boy at Pebbles. You laid down with Rebecca on the bug-rug when she had a migraine and talked quietly to her.
Dear Parents,
We have had a cold but relatively calm first week back. The children have loved the climbing frame and slide and the teachers have been impressed with how confidently the children climb and find different ways to come down the slide. Some are a little too confident and scared Rebecca, which is not easily done, but you have all stayed safe and followed the rules - e.g. no climbing with toys in your hands.
We have spent some time outside this week, despite the cold, when the sun was out it was nice playing in the garden and we loved the ice in the play area, even though it made our hands really cold. However, other days were just too cold. The children actually voted to stay in instead of going on a walk on Thursday, which is very unusual. It does mean we have spent lots of time on the climbing frame, keeping us active and warm. The whole reason for having it up at this time of year!
The weather looks set to warm up next week so hopefully, we will get back to our normal outdoor routines next week.
The Pebbles team.
