***I am just great in my own way….***
Alivia - , All of the teachers have noticed how much better you now are at listening and following instructions the first time, which includes tidying-up, well done!
Bodhi - You were such a kind boy giving all of your playdough to Ruby when nobody else would share any of theirs. The teachers are all so proud of you.
Zach - You were a kind boy. You made a toy out of the construction equipment to play with yourself but then you saw that Lenny was sad so you let him have it. What a lovely thing to do, well done!
Dear Parents,
An awful lot of cutting took place this week. Some pretend (thankfully) and some real. The children very much liked being hairdresses this week. They seemed to like do the teachers hair the best which was sometimes funny, sometimes painful and amazingly sometime relax as little Ruby does a good head massage, but don't let her loose with real scissors - she catch my ear with the pretend ones, ha, ha.
They also loved making little versions of themselves out of toilet rolls painting the tops match their hair colour and then cutting it. Lots of the children demonstrated very good scissor control as cutting toilet rolls is not easy.
On Tuesday the children were very creative in P.E. thinking of lots of different ways to move along the benches and jump off the ends and on Thursday they had a lovely time at Forest School with Reverend Claire finding bugs and think about how we are all God's creations.
This week the children have decided that they would like the role play area to be a shoe shop. We will be practising threading and lacing and reading the story of 'The Elves and the Shoemaker'.
