***I am kind ….***
Stanley - For always being a kind and helpful boy, but especially for helping Alfred with his shoes, to speed him up a little.
Oscar - For being kind to Bodhi, demonstrating good sharing and then tidying-up even though he won't asked too as it was another child's mess.
Daisy - For showing concern for others and comforting another child when they were upset.
Reggie - For helping up another child and making sure they were alright when they fell over outside.
Dear Parents,
We have been thinking about Wimbledon this week, making tennis balls and developing our threading skills, eating strawberries and cream (favourite snack of the week) and representing Wimbledon with strips of colour rice, not that it stayed like that for long! However, we did love pouring it into different containers and driving the cars through it. We have also continued to play lots of football.
Jane very kindly donated lots of tools and touches which have kept the children busy all week. Encouraging them to measure with a measuring tape and work together fixing items in the play area - lovely role-play. As well as making spooky faces in the den with the torches.
The children also developed their fine motor skills by whittling sticks which requires a good deal of pressure, this really helps when the children start to make meaningful marks e.g. drawing and writing.
Next week, will be our last week, so there will be lots of activity getting things ready for our school leavers final day.
We hope you have a lovely weekend,
The Pebbles team.
