***I am great ….***
Albert - all of the teachers were so impressed with your great listening and contribution at forest school. You showed you had great knowledge of our rules and what we expect from you!
Ernie - Reverend Claire was very impressed with your contribution and vocabulary at forest school.
Zach A - You demonstrated great initative when Ruby spilt her drink down herself, you got up, got the kitchen towel and dried her off - so clever and so kind.
Dear Parents,
We have loved our football theme. I am not sure who enjoyed playing football more on the big school field on Friday - Rebecca, Stevie and Ruby or the children. The grown-ups were definitely more competitive. We now have football warm-ups and stretches. We developed ball control skills in the school hall on Tuesday, as well as penalty taking. On the field we played a game of football. Albert was very good at football, although not as good as the grown-ups!
Our Wednesday walk took us out over snack-time so we had snack in the meadow, found a lovely tree which would provide us a shaded area to eat and play on a sunny day. We were very pleased to see the two white horses in their stables and named them 'Neigh' and Whinny'. The children loved rolling down the hill where the grass is cut, some of them were rather fast.
Thursday was Wild Worship day. The focus is body parts and this week we were thinking about legs. We looked at different bugs which had more than two legs. We went for a lovely walk through the forest school site and listened to a story about legs.
Next week, we will be continuing our football theme and we will also be finding out which countries are still in the Euros. For craft we will be making the flags from the remaining countries, finding the countries in an atlas and trying foods from the countries for snack.
We hope you had a lovely weekend,
The Pebbles team.
