***I am determined and positive….***
Alfred - For following Stevie's instructions brilliantly and climbing the netting at the park, showing great determination, as well as walking all the way to the park and back very happily!
Lara - For watching Maisie as she climbed the netting onto the platform and doing exactly as she did to acheive your goal, well done!
Mason - for being determined to climb up the ladder, repeatedly pulling yourself up to get onto the platform and down the slide.
Noella - You were so gorgeous during your first visit to the park. You walked all the way there and back brilliantly and you were such a smiley girl the whole time.
Dear Parents,
The highlight of the week for me was the trip to the park. Every single child walked there and back without a tear or a moan. Lots of the children ran around at the park too, so their stamina was impressive. They were all so well behaved and happy so they all got a sticker and spent the morning with very happy teachers.
The children made another papier mache pumpkin with Ruby, which they then painted orange, added faces and hung from the ceiling. They look very cute!
We have spent lots of time outside. The children love being in the garden and the outdoor area using the real and pretend tools. Fortunately they know not to use them in the same way or I think some of us would have limbs missing as their use of the pretend chainsaw leaves a lot to be desired!
The children have liked listening to the 'dem bones' song and we have used it to help the children name body parts and develop their memory, remembering which body parts are connected.
After half-term we will leave it up to the children to decide what they would like the focus to be.
For 'Star of the Week' we will be looking for children the get involved and concentrate. As we didn't focus on this, this week we will after half-term.
We hope you have a lovely half-term,
The Pebbles team.
